The School Based Youth Health Nurse talks about…
💜 Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month 💜Each May, communities across Queensland come together to raise awareness about domestic and family violence, including coercive control. This month reminds us how important it is to speak up, support others, and help build safer homes and communities for everyone.
This year's theme is:
👉 "Take positive action today to build a safer Queensland."We can all play a part — by learning more, checking in with others, and knowing where to go for help. Support services are available to assist anyone experiencing violence or control in their relationships 🤝🏠. 👉 For more information, visit: Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month | Need to know | Queensland Government To make an appointment to see the nurse, students can: 👉 Email: nurse.redcliffe@health.qld.gov.au 👉 Self-Refer via this link 👉 Visit your School Based Youth Health Nurse office on Thursday's in the Saber Centre 👉 For more information, visit https://bit.ly/chqSBYHN
