Redcliffe State High School has a proud history of serving the Redcliffe Peninsula and supporting the growth of our young people. The school was opened in 1958 and has consistently adapted over time to best support the local community.
Our facilities continue to evolve, supporting the needs of our students and to cater for our increasing range of programs, particularly in Vocational Education. We work closely with a range of community organisations to ensure authentic pathways for students, providing a range of supports for the diverse learners within our school.
Our school staff are passionate about providing outstanding opportunities to engage students and strengthen their academic development at all levels. We have a shared commitment to excellence and a clear, sustained focus on ensuring that every student is successful in their learning pathway.
We base our philosophy, and the work that we do, around our vision of “Connect Learn Succeed – The Redcliffe Way". This vision underpins our belief in supporting students to be connected to the school and the Redcliffe community. Through this connection we strive for high-quality learning outcomes throughout secondary schooling, ultimately focusing on students graduating from Redcliffe SHS with dignity, purpose and choice.
Our parents and caregivers are crucial partners in enacting our Vision. We actively communicate and seek feedback from our school community through a range of forums such as face-to-face meetings, information sessions, social media, emails, Compass, Q-Learn and Parent Connect (our P&C).
The staff and I look forward to building on our great foundations, moving into the future with parents, students and the wider school community to provide opportunities for excellence and success for all the students of Redcliffe State High School.
