Selective Entry Programs

​​At Redcliffe State High School, we offer a wide range of academic, sporting, and cultural opportunities to help students Connect, Learn, Succeed – The Redcliffe Way and celebrate their successes. This includes the chance to apply for Selective Entry Programs​, such as Programs of Excellence and Academies.

Programs of Excellence provide opportunities for Out-of-Catchment (OoC) students—those living outside the RSHS catchment—to apply and potentially receive an enrolment offer. Students who live within the RSHS catchment are also welcome to apply for all selective entry programs.

Excellence Program Applications

Families interested in our Excellence Programs follow these steps:

1. Apply
Complete the Selective Entry Program Application Form and either:

• Expression of Interest (EOI) – for Out-of-Catchment students
• Enrolment paperwork – for In-Catchment students
  

2. Trials & Auditions (Next Year)
Students participate in program-specific trials or auditions. 

Please note: Registration links only become active when enrolment forms open. If a link is unavailable, trials are not currently open.

3. Shortlist
Students are shortlisted based on performance. Successful applicants are notified. Out-of-Catchment students receive formal enrolment offers at this stage.

4. Enrol
Families finalise enrolment via an enrolment interview and payment of program fees.
