Redcliffe High boasts a wide array of Industrial Technology and Design (ITD) resources which help students understand past, present and future technologies.
In our well-equipped facilities students are exposed to, and made familiar with the technologies present in today’s workplace, enabling them to meet the demands and needs in a modern manufacturing workplace.
The Industrial Technology faculty utilises both senior engineering and furnishing workshops, where students learn traditional processes through to modern manufacturing and computer aided design.
Industrial Technology subjects today involve students designing innovative solutions given a set design problem or situation. Students have access to modern CNC milling and additive rapid prototyping machines which bring their ideas to life and help them create viable solutions and presentation of products for todays market.
Exposure to such a diverse array of machines, processes and products stands our students in good stead for any working environment or industry today.
