​​The Hospitality department has excellent facilities thanks to upgrades to both kitchens and dining rooms. The two kitchens have been designed with the various needs of different age and course requirements in mind.

  • Commercial kitchen – 8 commercial stoves with gas cooktops and electric multifunction ovens. Lighting and steam extraction occurs through commercial stainless canopies. Stainless steel mobile and fixed benches add to the flexibility of this room allowing various configurations, especially useful when conducting functions.
  • Food and supplies are kept at optimal temperatures and storage conditions with a commercial display fridge, large pantry and cool room.
  • Sanitising and cleaning dishes occurs in the commercial pass-through dishwasher.
  • Dining rooms – With the facility for 1 small, 1 medium or 1 large dining room, Hospitality is able to cater for functions from intimate luncheons produced by Year 11 students to the large evening restaurant held by Year 12 Hospitality students.
  • The Junior kitchen is set up like a home kitchen with unitised sections to aid younger students with their organisation in practical lessons. With 10 electric, fan forced upright stoves, this modern, refurbished layout enables students to produce delicious meals to share with their family.
