School council

As an Independent Public School we must have a School Council. The purpose of a school council is to increase parent, student and community participation in the education process.  The elected members help guide the strategic direction of the school.  It does not play a role in operational aspects of the school.

It is anticipated that the School Council will become operational in Term 3 this year.

The school staff and Parents and Citizens Association will be working on a ‘draft’ constitution and finalising this in the near future.

Nominations for parent, staff and student representatives are now available.

Parents can find these nomination forms via the link to the right of this page or pick one up at our P&C meeting on 13 May.

It is anticipated that in the initial School Council that there will be two parent, two staff and one student representative.

Members of our school community wishing to nominate for a position must maintain the deadlines already established, these can be found on the nomination forms.

We look forward to working through this process to create our School Council
